CHANGED

Last weekend Willow Creek premiered a music video I produced for the song, Changed, by our new worship leader Aaron Niequist (amazing guy). After hearing it the first time I was very excited to begin thinking about how the song might work as a video. The words were so powerful that I thought they should really drive the piece. The video (as you’ll see) became much more of an art project than anything else. Each frame was handcrafted or printed to create a stop-motion feel. Even the moving shots at the end are individual frames; one placed on top of the other, much like a flip-book. It was an incredibly fun and tedious journey with some amazing help by Randy and Ryan who are stellar editors and creatives. Below are some photos of the process. We look forward to your thoughts.
