I love the passage he chose for his inspiration as it sums up quite nicely the work I believe every artist and human being should do:

Every revelation was one step closer to the light.

I was fighting for truth.

This kind of inward journey is integral to your work. It absolutely must be done.

You must dig into the darkness of your story and then you must crawl your way out.

Oh, I think the new format here. Here a word for you and all the creatives of your tribe, my friend! We all know that dreaming can be a huge boon for the creative...but even better is learning how to lucid dream (wake up inside a dream and control it) Amazon (for Kindle) now has my book that will teach anyone how to do just that, and prolong the experience. (I'm been lucid dreaming since I was 7.
