I’m A Korean Import
Stay with me on this one…
Nearly 2 years ago to the day, I posted about a little t-shirt project I was starting. You can read more about it here on my old blog, but here is the short version:
Two years ago, while taking a class on Faith, Hope, and Love at Mars Hill Graduate School in Seattle, I sketched three icons. Those icons became cut-outs which were stamped into a plastic chandelier I created. Those cut-outs then became designs which I were printed on a limited run of t-shirts. The t-shirt venture was funded by my gracious friend Jarrod who only recently recouped his investment.
Still not getting the imported to Korea thing?
Well…last week I was contacted by Korean clothing distributor, culturetwist.com. Apparently they saw the shirts on emptees.com and were wanting to purchase the Hope design. I was a little skeptical at first. But, as it turns out they are legit and will be printing the shirts in about a month. Thus making me an official import to Korea!
I’m telling you…the interweb is AMAZING!
