Five Things I’m Into Right Now
1. Sleeping At Last - Storyboards // My friends from Sleeping At Last recently sent me a review copy of their latest album, Storyboards. Their music is always so sweet, fresh and cinematic to me. I promise that something from this album will make its way into an opening credit sequence soon.
2. Moving Boxes // We I (and some friends and family) moved this week. And even after a few generous co-workers donated a bunch of boxes, I still found myself in need of a bunch more. One stop to the local Cost-Co and all my problems were solved. 12 small boxes, 8 medium ones, 5 large ones, 3 rolls of tape, and one permanent marker - all for $50. Everything looks so sexy all boxed up I may keep it that way.
3. Monkey and the Fish // Dave Gibbons’ thoughts on Third Culture and the future of the American church have given me hope this week. The work is hard to be sure, but if you are working in any aspect of a western church, Monkey and the Fish is a must read.
4. The PosterList // Great paper. Great typography. Great colors. Great design. Great people. I picked out a couple for the new place. You should too. Even if you aren’t moving.
5. SFgirlbybay on Etsy // Another great print maker with a really great soul. A few of these are going around the new place as well.
What are you into right now?
